MANISTEE COUNTY — A 27-year-old man from Mancelona was arraigned this week in Manistee County and charged with six counts of varying degrees in the alleged sexual abuse of a child that spanned several years, according to a press release provided by the Michigan State Police.

    On March 25 unmarked immigration officials without warning grabbed Tufts’ doctoral student Rumeysa Opzruek outside of Boston and shoved her in a van and put her in detention in Louisiana. She had written an article in Tufts University’s student paper supporting Palestinians.
