Good, finally, LIFE-LONG RESIDENTS, not outsiders/down-staters running Lud's. government with strong concerns for the LOCALS! Wishing you both success and good luck. Now, for the other wards with non-locals, new volunteers are needed at once. Apply at courthouse asap. The ball might just be rolling in the right direction now, after decades of apathy. Don't forget the Mayoral seat too.
I am only sorry we could not get either of these candidates to run for mayor. This is what we need to infuse in our local politics-- political neophytes that wish to serve their city, and not continue a career in public service. The article is confusing in that it switches from 2nd to 4th Ward, regularly, and this is a 4th ward race. Good luck to you both, but Lane would have my vote if I was a little more south.
