I wish just ONE of the Black media would get some courage and open up a real debate on the merits (or lack thereof) on affirmative action. All we've gotten so far is a pro affirmative action love fest, featuring the Detroit Personality Cult, and paper tigers like Al Sharpton and Wendell Anthony. There are many of us African-Americans who have powerful reasons for supporting proposal 2. However, I do wish the black media would give some affirmative Action to those of us who disagree with their stance against proposal 2. Put Sharpton and his ilk in the intellectual ring with me. The truth of my arguments will be so powerful they will knock him out cold. He will be a block of ice before he hits the canvass. I am qualified, ready willing and able to engage any or all of them in a structured public debate on the matter.
