Who organized our bus trip and paid the whole darn thing, So we could quit Wisconsin and skedaddle to Lansing. We waved our signs and the Democrats went running, They’re hiding out in Illinois and won’t come back to vote. We yelled once more but the GOP was cunning: They passed another bill and they sunk our union’s boat. We cluttered up the capitol and trashed the Badger State, We shouted our invectives and we acted all irate. We threatened all them senators and tried to pull their chain, But they put it to us anyway and flushed us down the drain. We waved our signs: Jesse Jackson came a-running, We had him play the race card so we thought we’d win the war. We yelled once more but the GOP was cunning: This time they didn’t listen to the national press corps. We found a union doctor and he gave us all sick notes, So we’re heading off for Lansing, to sow our wild oats. We’re off to have a showdown with a fella known as Snyder It won’t be long before he’ll need a good health care provider. We’ll yell “unfair” and the press will come in masses, We’ll cause a public nuisance like we always done before. We’ll call in sick and we’ll have our kids skip classes, We’ve gotta win this time for our good buddy Michael Moore. thebardofmurdock
I knew Snyder would be another bad apple for Michigan! Voters already want a Recall on him, what does that say for the voters choice? People need to quit voting for people who run for office & just pick who "they" want to represent them! Name me just one politician who has actually done something good for Michigander's or this country, and tell me what he/she did that was so good! I search far and near and can't think of anything myself?!
THE GOP= GREEDY OLD PARTY!
Unfortunately most voters are ill informed. If voters had done any research on Snyder's past, they would have found that he is pro big business, anti blue collar, as shown when he moved thousands of jobs from his computer business out of the U.S. and overseas. The fact is, If politicans are serious about fixing our budget, they would "create jobs" which Snyder is trying to do, by giving billion in tax breaks to buinesses. Businesses need the boost in order to invest and hire. Whne Michigan goes back to work, and taex are again being collected, things will get better. I'm just hoping Snyder can balance taxing the rich as well as the elderly and poor.
Snyder just signed a bill that allows him, as governer, to appoint an administrator to run any local government that is in the red. This bill also allows him to fire elected officials! Mr. Snyder, this is not 16th century europe, nor is is Libya or Yemen. We will not stand idly by while you bust our unions, fire our elected officials, tax our pensions and give business an 86% tax break! We will not watch you give big tax breaks to millionaires and at the same time get rid of the Michigan earned income credit, which gives tax breaks to low income people. This is not what we elected you for and you will not get away with it! RECALL SNYDER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a believer in getting big business out of purchasing legislation by giving candidates money to pay for their expenses to run for office. I no longer see or hear any politicians that will be open and honest about what they plan to do (with any level of detail) once elected. From his rhetoric on the campaign trail, did anyone expect Snyder to pony up to business the way he is doing? I doubt it. He still isn't balancing the budget but certainly is taking union power away if the whim so overtakes him. Let's see now - that must be more important than budget balancing. And, increasing taxes on the middle class, that's really what he said he was going to do (????!!!)!!!
Every time I see the name of Jeff Hanson, I Roll my Eye's, Here Is a man, the Voter's vote'd in to Represent their community, that went broke, running a grocery store!. He is the Guy I want leading me in the future! that's to bad for our community. but great for the Farmer, GO Jeff! Don't forget to ask your Wife what to do! FYI: Rep. Hansen's first name is spelled Goeff.
