How did the detective interviewing Sean give his scenario to Sean prior to talking to Ariel. The testimony about the shoes is ridiculous and absolutely no one can make any legitimate determinations from that testimony. What is an Expert anyway and it would seem they have no real answers on the materials on the shoes. The prosecution will ask questions they want answered a specific way and only that. Once the testimony is stated and the jury has heard, it they have probably formed an opinion. Then the defense must try to defend what has been said. Does not mean Expert testimony amounts to a hill of beans just b/c "an expert" gives it. This is a very unfortunate sad story and Ariel Courtland's role seems very fishy to me. I hope the jury that has been selected is able to realize from the minute 911 call was made and Sean's name given by Ariel police put that story into motion and were on a mission to find Sean and accuse him with the crime. Don't know if he is guilty or not but there sure seem to be alot of things that don't add up from the baby's mother. One more thing Prosecution can and probably is withholding important evidence that would clear up some of the holes but they want to send Sean Phillips to jail. Remember that is their job.
Realitycheck, I think that the testimony with the shoes is very important. If you were following the story since June, they said when they found him at his parents house his shoes were muddy and were the ones he was wearing that day. I think its sad that people like you are trying to say that Sean didnt do anything and it should fall onto his girlfriend. He took the kid, phone off for 2 hours, police find him, No baby, and baby car seat and diaper back now in the trunk...thats fishy...he needs to just admit what he did to her so justice can be served. I'm so against the whole court system's motto, innocent until proven guilty, thats how people like Sean get to walk...
anyone else notice here how quickly the timeline does not add up? it was only a matter of minutes between the three of them driving through the hospital parking lot to her frantically making phone call's!
He was running around town before dumping the body. He probably had her in the trunk when he pulled up to Wendy's.
IF SOMEONE CALLED MY PHONE AS SHE DID TO HIS - I WOULD PROBABLY TOSS IT AWAY! OMG!!! ONE CALL EVER MINUTE? THAT GIRL NEEDS SOME PSYC HELP! REALLY! AND SHE STILL HAS ANOTHER CHILD? REALLY?!? DHS - WHY ARE YOU NOT INVOLVED? WTHeck? DID ANYONE BESIDES SEAN AND ARIEL SEE THIS BABY THAT DAY - OR DID THEY DO SOMETHING THE NIGHT BEFORE? WHO SAW THAT BABY THAT DAY? THIS WHOLE STORY IS NOTHING BUT LIES FROM BOTH OF THEM. THEY ARE JUST KIDS WITH KIDS WHO CANNOT GET ALONG
I hope he walks. This is a good ol whitch hunt
q you are the first person to say something like that. Why is this a wicth hunt? Are you a good buddy of his? Were you helping him out? I think you are up to no good.
I feel he got what he deserved. But, the big question that needs to be answered is "where is Kathryn?" To bad torture is no longer allowed! I pray that Kathryn is not dead.
