Comments are moderated on a daily basis.I find it very offensive that the media has to mention the drinking is the #1 FACTOR in the crash how do you know he didnt just have a drink with his meal before heading home to his family oh yea and you failed to mention he was a great father,husband,and friend did you i think the media should not commit on stuff till they themselves know the FACTS........Mad in Muskegon
I don't find it offensive....The paper states Alcohol, excessive speed, no seatbelt are CONSIDERED factors in the crash. They did not say he was drunk. Very sad situation all the way around, but it is also not fair to read into into it. Those were the FACTS at the time!
Would you feel better if "the media" explained that this needless death was the result of speeding and wearing no seat belt? Even the best people make dreadful mistakes, as this young man did, and pay with their lives. When all is said and done, it DOES matter that he was under the influence, speeding, careless and thoughtless of the family he left behind. I feel very badly for the family he cheated because this kind of tragedy leaves emotional scars that will last a lifetime.
