I was convinced from the article with questions and answers from both sheriff candidates that Mr. Cole just likes to cause discourse. There was no specific reason to not vote for Mr. Fiers except he was the boss... I like the fact that Sheriff Fiers has done a great job and is fiscally responsible. Sheriff Fiers has my vote.
I didn't like the fact, regarding the Sheriff's race, that the uniformed state union employees made a biased statement of support for the opponent by knit-picking Fiers. Basically, some, not many, are upset with not getting more overtime pay, as well as pay for upgrading their credentials/cpr type classes. All petty in the big scheme of the important job ahead, and not in line with duty, honor, and sacrifice in these financially challenging times.
