Comments are moderated on a daily basis.Funny when the people of riverton and summit were fighting to stop the windmills seemed like the county goverment treated it like a non issue,but now when the county stands to be worked over by the windmill people its a major issue. I know this is about the tax commission changing the way mills are taxed but the windmill people have lots of money to get things changed in their favor. Should have seen it coming.......$15,000 of taxpayer money down the tubes.........
Great point about the irony of the situation. Taxpayer money used by one part of our government to fight another part of our governmnt who will defend themselves with more taxpayer money. All to see whether that first public entity can grab more in taxes from a private organization, who will in turn (if they lose) raise their rates. Who wins? We know who loses, no matter what the outcome.
