Comments are moderated on a daily basis.First time in my life I can remember any airport suing an airline for discontinuing service there. It's their decision afterall, no profit, no flying. Maybe some perks and discounts for staying would be more appropriate, not legal force, strange.
I sure wouldn't trust flying for a company that was being forced to provide service. Do you think they are going to really care how well their maintenance and customer service is? I don't have that much trust in someone to put my life in their hands if they don't want it.
The folks on the Manistee airport board have worked very hard to keep providing service, however the reality is that there just isn't enough revenue generated in Manistee to make flying profitable enough for a company to operate there. It's TVC or GRR.
