Yes it does. Had a flicker go across the hood of a pickup turned my stomach. Yes it is real and bothersome.

I live next to 4 different turbines. I've experienced flicker once, for about 30 seconds in my kitchen and it in no way was enough to make me nauseous. I think that 10 inconvenient minutes spread throughout an entire year is a small price to pay for the betterment of the environment and our children's future.
